This 17" pad holder is designed to be used on the Mercury 17" CleanMaster dual speed floor buffer and is designed to be more stable at higher RPM that this machine provides. The actual diameter of the pad driver is 1" smaller than the machine to fit underneath the apron of the machine. You will still want to still use 17" pads, so there is some pad overhang on all sides of the pad driver.
